About Yokkaichi Japanese Language School

Yokkaichi Japanese Language School was established in 1991 with the approval of the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education and has been engaged in assisting students who wish to advance to higher education institutions within Japan.
YJLS is located in Yokkaichi, a city in the northern part of Mie prefecture. Yokkaichi is surrounded by the sea and mountains and its climate is mild while the city has evolved in an industrialized city today.
Yokkaichi is 30-min away by train or car from Nagoya, one of the biggest three cities in Japan, next to Tokyo and Osaka. Yokkaichi boasts its balance of nature and urban convenience.

Students at YJLS are promised to receive support not only from YJLS teachers and staff but also from local industrial circles. We look forward to seeing you venturing out into the future at YJLS.
